FITNESS CLASSES for those FIFTY & BETTER

Total Body Workout

The City of Paso Robles Library & Recreation Department invites women and men age 50 and better to try a few complimentary exercise classes offered through Total Body Workout. Workout

If you do not have a current fitness program, check out the fun and easy Lite-R-Cize class featuring cardio, balance, and strength-building exercises. The class meets every Monday at 10:05-11:05 a.m. at Centennial Park in the banquet room, 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles, 237-3988.

A special incentive is being offered beginning in October and is good through November 2008. Participants will receive a complimentary pass which can be used for up to 6 free classes. This will allow a good overview of the various types and levels of Total Body Workout. Come to Centennial Park for your complimentary pass!

EMERITUS CLASSES are FREE enrichment courses geared for adults 50 years and above.  Dare to stretch your mind, discover new talents and meet new people in Emeritus College classes.  Cuesta Emeritus College offers lifelong learning through a variety of exciting, interactive and educational formats. Classes are designed for older adults who want to continue learning and are taught by expert instructors who help explore new topics/activities and stimulate your thinking. Flexercise (50+)
It’s not too late to get in shape!  This low-impact exercise class is designed for fun and emphasizes safe and beneficial movements and routines that will increase your flexibility, strength, and endurance.  Nettie is our energetic instructor.  Just drop in and wear comfortable clothing.

Softball for Seniors

Especially for the 50 and better crowd, come and bring your gear to Barney Schwartz Park every Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Take a few swings, shag a few flys. If enough show to play, we can even choose teams for a quick pickup game. There's no fee. If you don't want the structure of a league, or if you're in a league and just want to stay loose, this is for you!

"The Pacesetters"
Start your day out right, greeting the morning bright!  Put on your walking shoes and join Barbara and company for your morning constitution.  No matter how fast or how far you can walk, this group is for you.  Walking route to be determined by participants.  For more information call Barbara at 237-1912.
