SUMMER 2008
Water! We drink it, wash in it, swim in it, and generally take it for granted.
Water is a substance essential for life. What would you do if you turned on your faucet and nothing came out?
The City of Paso Robles is asking for your help!
Due to the lack of rainfall this past season and the exceptionally hot weather we are experiencing, the City’s water supply is critically low. In order to avoid mandatory restrictions we are asking for everyone to help.
Only 1% of household water usage is for drinking. The majority of our potable water is used for lawn irrigation, showers, laundry and washing cars.
We’re asking citizens to water lawns no more than every other day for a maximum of 10 minutes, use only automated car washes, and save water whenever possible.
For more water saving tips, see our Water Conservation page.
Together WE CAN make a difference!
