DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Division provides coordination of the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of employees within the City, along with service support to the entire work force through management of employee benefits and oversight of work environment and safety programs.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
There are several employee bargaining groups for city staff. These groups have separate group employment contracts that govern their pay and benefit structure.
Resolution No. 11-119 (adopted Sept. 6, 2011) approved the Classification and Compensation Study for Non-Safety Personnel and Amended the Compensation and Benefit Plans for Unrepresented Confidential, Professional, & Management Employees, Part-Time Workers, and the following MOUs:
