GENERAL PLAN

The General Plan is the City’s statement of policies for guiding decisions regarding its physical development over the next 20 years. The geographic area addressed in the most current General Plan includes the existing City Limits as of December 16, 2003 and the planning impact area around the City. Please see the Adopted Sphere of Influence & Sphere of Service [pdf:164k/1pp] for the City’s year 2000 limit lines and planning impact areas.

The City Council adopted a new/updated General Plan on December 16, 2003.  A revised Housing Element was adopted on December 7, 2004.  The latest plan can be viewed on the General Plan 2003 page.
